Nurse Left Patient Suspended to Get Bus (RedNova)
A nurse who left a paraplegic patient suspended in a hoist above a bed pan so she could catch her bus home has been struck off. Pearl Bantom (58) abandoned the woman with multiple scleroses while on duty at the Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham.
