Nurse Injured at Bibb Jail (13 WMAZ Macon)


A nurse was injured today when struck by an inmate at the Bibb County jail, according to a sheriff's department spokesman. The inmate was being treated in the infirmary at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center when he picked up a phone and struck the nurse with it, according to Lt. George Meadows.
