State fines two nursing homes (The State Journal-Register)


Two area nursing homes face stiff penalties after Illinois Department of Public Health investigations. Both Pleasant Hill Village in Girard and Adloff Place in Springfield were cited for "type A" violations, the most serious IDPH imposes. Type A violations could lead to bodily harm or death.
