March 9 (UNION-TRIBUNE): County supervisors will consider Tuesday whether to oppose UCSD Medical Center's plan to move its acute-care beds in Hillcrest to an expanded Thornton Hospital in La Jolla. Supervisor Greg Cox's resolution calls the move “a significant threat to the ability for many residents to access hospital care” in the southern and central parts of the county.
