Piedmont buys Newnan Hospital (Atlanta Journal-Constitution


Piedmont Healthcare said it has completed its purchase of Newnan Hospital and will move ahead with plans for a new state-of-the-art complex. Piedmont also said it will repay $43 million of the Newnan hospital's bond debt. The Coweta County medical center will now be known as Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
