Newborn Found in L.I. Hospital Restroom (1010 WINS New York


A newborn baby girl was found abandoned Thursday morning in the restroom of a Long Island hospital. Nassau County police say the newborn was found at 9:20 a.m. by an employee in a public restroom of North Shore Hospital in Manhasset. The baby was evaluated by doctors at the hospital. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the baby, or her mother, to call them at 1-800-244-TIPS.
