State agency approves psychiatric, rehabilitation hospital


A state agency today approved SeniorHealth Inc.'s plans for a 60-bed psychiatric and rehabilitation hospital in Murfreesboro. After a 90-minute hearing, the Health Services and Development Agency's board voted 8-0 in favor of the $29.9 million project despite objections from Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital and a dozen other health-care facilities from as far away as Chattanooga. ...
