Pirates' Nady released from hospital (Fox Sports)


Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Xavier Nady was released from a hospital Thursday, two days after being admitted for an inflammation of the intestine. Nady is expected to resume limited physical activity Friday. He informed the team's medical staff Monday of recurring stomach pain. By Tuesday night, the pain had become sharp enough that he went to a hospital.
