Psychiatric hospital to open Uptown (New Orleans Times-Pica


To relieve a critical shortage of hospital beds for patients with chronic mental illness in the city and around the region, Louisiana State University plans to open a psychiatric hospital in Uptown New Orleans by the middle of the summer.
