Spitzer budget chops $700G per nursing home, industry says


ALBANY - The average nursing home would lose $700,000 a year in tax funds under Gov. Eliot Spitzer's proposed budget, and the homes would probably have to cut staff as a result, the head of an industry organization said yesterday.
