Nursing homes could lose $460M (Observer-Dispatch)


ALBANY _ The average nursing home will lose $700,000 a year in taxpayers funds under Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s proposed budget and the homes would probably have to cut staff as a result, the head of an industry organization said Monday.
