Hospital turns 110 years old (Rapid City Journal)


DEADWOOD -- Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital celebrated its 110th birthday with a cake reception in the hospital lobby last Firday, with its actual birthday falling on Jan. 15 - more than a century after opening as St. Joseph's Hospital in 1897 with a 20-bed capacity.
