Nurse practitioners fill gaps in care (Burnaby NewsLeader)


Royal Columbia Hospital's new nurse practitioners, Barbara Radon and Brenda Poulton, will be able to take on some functions that had been formerly done by doctors, like order x-rays, assess, diagnose and treat pain and prescribe drugs.
