Hospital gives money to USC medical school (The State)


Greenville Hospital System has pledged $100,000 to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine for minority scholarships. The gift will provide $20,000 a year for five years for an under-represented minority student to attend the medical school. Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to practice medicine in the Upstate.
