DELAND -- The area's first baby of the new year was a week overdue -- and had a bumpy ride into 2007. Six hours and 37 minutes into the new year, James Winston Harper made his debut at Florida Hospital DeLand, tipping the scales at 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 21 inches.
