Attention Fairfield, Bloomfield and Chaplin residents: Suppose the 18 to 20 churches, 10 or 12 businesses, and community-minded benefactors went together and built an assisted living and/or nursing home building halfway between Chaplin and Fairfield so that people can drive five to eight miles to visit loved ones instead of an average of 17 or so to Bardstown and much farther to Louisville.
