NORTHAMPTON - The milestone moment occurred last week on the ground floor of Cooley Dickinson Hospital's 116,000-square-foot addition. Using diamond-tipped saws, workers cut through a concrete wall, removing 16, 500-pound blocks, thereby creating a passageway to the hospital's main building.
