Union employees at the Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center could strike as early as New Year's Day. The more than 400 employees for the county's nursing home took a strike authorization vote Wednesday, and it overwhelmingly passed, said Kittie Hake, business agent for Teamsters Local 776.
