Reuters - When patients with type 2
diabetes that is no longer controlled with oral medications
begin insulin therapy, it is better to add once-daily glargine
insulin to the oral regimen than to switch to a shorter-acting
insulin that needs to be injected twice a day, according to a
report in the journal Diabetes Care.
