Delay could close hospital (The Times and Democrat)


BAMBERG - An appeal to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control by the city of Denmark to the issuance of a Certificate of Need on construction of a new $47 million, 59-bed hospital in Bamberg could result in a delay that may force the Bamberg County Hospital to close, officials say.
