How to tactfully confront a patient on an offensive matter
Dr. Terry Bennett Is Outraged After State Medical Board Found Him at Fault for Suggesting Patient Lose Weight

What has our society come to when your doctor is punished for being honest with you! It angers and saddens me that our medical professionals are under appreciated and wrongly accused.

Better get over it. Medical professionals have no rights, and patients will always win these cases. It's called violating a patient's dignity, and you, as a professional, have no defense against this charge.

You're only real defense is to have another professional in the room when you confront any patient.
