$3.5 million settlement replaces $18 million award against


ST. MARIES, Idaho A settlement has been reached in an eleven-year legal battle over the death of a man at a north Idaho nursing home. In May a jury in St. Maries awarded the survivors of 86-year-old Delbert Hayward 18 million dollars -- a record sum in Idaho.
