Construction of a medical park in The Woodlands is set to begin next year in part because about 45 local doctors have signed up to invest at least $4.8 million in it. The total investment in the 9-acre park's surgical hospital, rehab hospital and medical office building is $60 million, said Irv Gregory, the chief executive of the newly formed Southwest Health Group of Spring.
