The Scottsdale healthcare nursing program Monday received Magnet recognition, a measure of nursing excellence administrated by the American Nurses Association. Hospitals must submit rigorous documentation and undergo intensive inspections to win the award. Nationally, only 220 individual hospitals have earned the distinction.
