Blanco, lobbyist say nursing homes better prepared to evacu
NEW ORLEANS More than a year after Hurricane Katrina killed 35 nursing home patients, Governor Kathleen Blanco says the state's nursing homes are better prepared to evacuate if another storm threatens.
