Advocat sells 2 nursing homes to cut debt (Tennessean)


Advocat Inc., which operates nursing homes, said it has sold two Texas facilities and will use proceeds to reduce its debt. The sales complete the Franklin-based company's plans to get rid of locations in Texas that were operating at a loss and had low occupancy, Advocat officials said.
