Indiana hospital-bed maker may move some manufacturing outs


Hillenbrand Industries' Hill-Rom Co. unit may move some hospital-bed manufacturing from Batesville, Ind., to "lower cost regions," perhaps outside the United States. In a separate move, Hill-Rom is cutting about 140 jobs around the nation in its rental business for health-care beds and equipment.
