Suspect disarms guard, flees hospital (Tennessean)


A kidnapping suspect stole a sheriff's deputy's gun and escaped from a Nashville hospital Wednesday afternoon, leaving Metro police following a trail of carjackings and abandoned vehicles as he fled into Kentucky.
