Plan to save troubled LA hospital calls for merger, service


LOS ANGELES - Oversight of the Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center would be given to another county hospital under a new plan to save the troubled inner city facility that has served thousands of low income residents since its opening after the 1965 riots.
