Hospital auction set for Thursday (Centre Daily Times)


The fate of the Philipsburg Area Hospital could be decided Thursday. The auction among qualified bidders for the bankrupt hospital, postponed from earlier this month, is scheduled for Thursday. There are currently three bidders looking to take over operations of the institution, which declared bankruptcy in January and closed in April.
