Mary Immaculate survives an afternoon without power after its emergency generator gives out. A failed emergency generator left Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News without power most of Friday afternoon and into the evening, cutting off phone service and forcing staff to use manual respirators on patients with breathing problems.
