Daly taken to hospital with stomach virus (USA Today)
John Daly withdrew from the BMW International on Thursday after being hospitalized with a gastrointestinal virus. Daly, who won the tournament in 2001, was taken to a Munich hospital on Thursday morning and doctors advised him not to play in the tournament.
