First Christian Residence in Minneapolis said Tuesday that it will close in two months, the 48th Minnesota nursing home to shut down since 2000. Like First Christian, most have cited weak finances, often blaming low Medicaid payments for care approved by the Legislature. The state still has 408 nursing homes and licensed board and care homes with 36,940 beds, state officials say, but those
