Many Choose Nursing As Second Career (RedNova)


Good news for the U.S. nursing shortage is that 70 percent of the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing new students are people seeking a second career. Of the 153 nursing students entering this fall, 107 already hold undergraduate degrees, while nine have graduate degrees.
