Nurse, educator Carol Brodbeck, 55 (Akron Beacon Journal)


Carol A. (nee Christ) Brodbeck -- fondly called ``Peanut'' -- was tiny in stature, but mighty in her care for others. A nurse by profession, Mrs. Brodbeck, of Coventry Township, worked in the medical system for more than 35 years and was said to be on the cutting edge of nursing. She received the Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award and Mary Gladwin Award for Outstanding Graduate Student of Nursing
