The Nursing Board of Tasmania is investigating the death of an elderly patient at the Mersey Community Hospital at Latrobe in 2004. Coroner Rodney Chandler yesterday handed down his report, which found poor record-keeping was critical in the events that led to 89-year-old Pearl Sheridan's death.
