MASON CITY — A Mason City nurse is being recognized with a national award for her work with breast cancer patients. Shari Showalter, nurse case manager with Mercy Center for Breast Health, will receive the Lane W. Adams Quality of Life Award at a reception and banquet May 18 in Atlanta.
