Nurse suing ex-officer and Abita (New Orleans Times-Picayun


An emergency room nurse at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington has sued the town of Abita Springs and a former police officer, saying she was stopped for no cause and roughed up a year ago while on her way to the hospital to help treat a heart attack patient.
