Call over nursing home beds (u.tv)


The Irish Nursing Homes Organisation has said vacant beds in nursing homes could be used to ease overcrowding in Accident and Emergency Units. The group said it has up to 2,000 beds which would be suitable for people who no longer need to occupy acute hospital beds.
