Sheriff defends ousting jail nurse (South Coast Today)


BOSTON -- Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral said yesterday she did not know a jailhouse nurse was an FBI informant before barring her from the House of Correction, even though Cabral knew the woman had assisted in a past federal corruption probe.
