NY to CA Nursing in hospital advice
I'm a new member, and I'm only here to get some help/information for my mother. She was a Nurse in NY for years and she's recently moved to San Diego. For a long time she was a hospital nurse, but she stopped doing that, chiefly because the nurses had about ten patients each. Since leaving the hospital, she's spent the last few years as a visiting Nurse in NY, but now that she's here in CA she would like to go back to the hospital (as there is a state mandated cap (or something)); the problem is that I guess she's been told that she doesn't have the requisite, recent, experience. Can anyone give me some suggestions for her to be able to transition back into that area?
