General Education courses for Nursing Programs
I'm doing a research paper for my english class about whether or not general education classes should be required for technical degrees (such as a two year RN program or an LPN program).
I need a nurse's opinion about whether or not written and oral communications are helpful every day on the job, as well as intermediate algebra and psychology.
Do you use these skills every day? If yes, how and for what specifically?
Would you say these classes are necessary for a student to take before obtaining a nursing degree? Why or why not?
Any opinions are extremely extremely appreciated!!!!
Thank you!
