New grad recruiter advice pls
Hi everyone ! I am looking for an advice from a recruiter or anyone else who might help.
I graduated in 2005 from my Nursing School and Medical School in my native country but I only managed to get my US RN license this year in March and I couldn't get any hospital working experience except the one from the Nursing School and my last 4 years of my Medical School. Since I will get my working permit in 1-2 months from now, I am trying to find what are my best options. . Since I don't have the money and the time to study for the residency exams, I plan to work as a RN for at least 1-2 years in Miami,FL .
My questions are:
-Is it a good idea to mention my 6 years of Medical School ? This is very important, since I've heard that some hospitals don't like former doctors to work as RN because they might try to do more that they are allowed as an RN.
-Is it better to look for a job that offers an orientation/training program or I have a chance of getting a fulltime hands-on decent hospital job ,since I don't feel too confident in my nursing skills?
Tks
