Local nurse awaiting bone marrow transplant (Jonesboro Sun)


JONESBORO -- Friends of Kelly Purtee hope the gift of giving is abundant in Northeast Arkansas this holiday season. The Nettleton School District nurse is in a Houston, Texas, hospital, having just undergone her second round and fifth treatment of chemotherapy for adult leukemia.
