About Town: Allen Academy kids visit nursing home (The Brya
Allen Academy's Student Council on Nov. 9 visited residents of Sheridan in Bryan. Nineteen first- through fifth-graders spent an hour reading books to residents of the nursing home. Student council sponsor Cheryl Hightower makes this trip an annual event for the student group.
