The best part of my job is seeing a smile on a patients or family members face as the reunite or are leaving healthier. This is why we do what we do. The worst part of my job is my sore feet at the end of a 12 hour shift. Good luck in school!

One of the best things about nursing is knowing you have help a person get better and bringing them back to their families healthy and well . Worst part f it is nursing is it is a very stressful job but very rewarding emotionally and spiritually.

my career was spent in nursing homes..so i didnt get to see many get well and go home......some did...some came in for rehab, then got to go home...that was always really wonderful....seeing them come in really hurting,not walking...and then see them walking out...with smiles on thier faces

I loved all the hugs I got from my patients...so many would tell me thank you and "i love you". That just meant the world to me. Also when they would pat me on the back and telll me things would be ok when I was having a bad day....

theres so many things that make nursing awesome.......its hard, stressful work...and you get so tired....then you have to go back the next day....but its worth it...
