Case against ex-nurse's aide dropped (Houston Chronicle)


A charge accusing a former nurse's aide of sexually assaulting a cancer patient at a Houston hospital was dismissed Monday just before trial. Julio Mendoza II, 54, of Missouri City, remains in the Harris County Jail, however, because immigration authorities placed a deportation detainer on him, his attorney said.
