Asylum seeker nurse faces deportation (Guardian Unlimited)


A nurse who spent three years training in this country is to be deported after her appeal for asylum failed, it emerged today. Melissa Reid was denied a visitor's visa and asylum when she arrived from Jamaica five years ago.
