help needed understanding ECG
can someone please explain to me the following ECG results..
On reaching the Accident Unit a twelve lead ECG shows sinus rhythm (heart rate 70 beats per minute) with ST elevation and T wave inversion in leads II, III and aVF, and a reciprocal ST depression in leads aVL and V2-V4.
You got yourself an MI with that one. T wave inversion is caused by ischemia, ST elevation means active myocardial damage occuring-it's called STEMI for short (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction). Current Core measures state door to balloon time (Cath Lab) of 90 minutes for this.
