Patient accused of stabbing nurse (Kansas City Star)


KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A nursing home patient has been charged with stabbing a registered nurse 17 times with a pocketknife. Vincetta M. Spero, 47, of Blue Springs, was hospitalized in serious condition Wednesday after suffering wounds to her face, neck, arms, hands, chest and abdomen.
